New Apprentice Season Targets Workers Affected by Economic Downturn
Donald Trump says he wants to make a difference in today’s job market – by launching a new season of The Apprentice. NBC announced that after three seasons of Celebrity Apprentice , The Apprentice is once again recruiting non-famous candidates to compete for a life-changing job. But this time, the show is specifically recruiting candidates who have been hit hard by the economic downturn. An NBC press release specifies that “these will include talented and bright prospects who have lost their jobs with no hope in sight, people who are currently holding down jobs they don’t like just to make ends meet and recent college graduates who currently have few if any prospects.” Donald Trump will offer job search advice to candidates along the way. “We’ve got to do something about the economy and this is a terrific way to provide jobs as well as business lessons along the way,” he is quoted as saying. So, how do you apply? Casting calls will be announced soon, but you can also email castingnbcapprentice@gmail.com. Your email should include your name, a recent photo, your work history, and info about how the recession has impacted your life. Good luck!
